Josh Groban is set to release his compilation cd, titled A Collection on 17th November 2008. This double disc features his great songs with a bonus disc of songs from his #1 cd Noel. To me, the highlight of this collection is Anthem (from Chess), a live performance. I'm not sure which performance this would refer to though. Back in 2003, Josh performed as Anatoly at the The Actors's Fund of America Concert, presented on September 22, 2003 in the New Amsterdam Theater, Broadway. However, Josh also performed as Anatoly in a concert version Royal Albert Hall, London, on the 12th and 13th May 2008 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This performance will be released on dvd in December 2008. Whichever performance, you can view Josh's performance of Anthem (from the 2003 concert) at youtube. It was a grand performance from Josh. A truly patriotic performance.

BTW - the DVD of this version of Chess is being released (fingers crossed for December 2008).
yes, i read about it, and i also hope they'll release the cd version of it, although i'm sure someone will eventually rip it :)
